Franklin County Courthouse Re-opens After Fire.
Franklin County Common Pleas Court re-opened today after an electrical fire on Monday forced a temporary closure. Administrative Judge Charles Schneider says all divisions of the court today resumed business.
Firefighters freed people trapped in elevators yesterday at the Common Pleas Court and helped others to evacuate, carrying three people with disabilities down the stairs. No injuries were reported. The fire started in an electrical panel. The cause remains under investigation.
