Ohio’s unemployment rate has edged up to 10.9% for December, from 10.6% the month before. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services said Friday that the state’s labor market weakened, led by losses in service-providing industries.

President Barack Obama will visit Ohio today to talk about jobs. He’ll tour a wind turbine plant and hold a town hall meeting at Lorain County Community College that will focus on rebuilding the economy.
