Hearing Held on Possible Moratorium on Ohio Foreclosures

A proposal to impose a six month moratorium on many Ohio home foreclosures passed the Ohio House of Representatives last May.
Since then, it’s been in limbo in the Senate. Backers finally convinced the Senate Finance Committee to hold its first hearing on the measure today, but Republicans who dominate the panel still appear skeptical.
