Columbus artist Ric Stewart combines his love of art and motorcycles, most notably through sculpture. We visit his workshop at the Columbus Cultural Arts Center where he demonstrates for us the “lost-wax” method of bronze casting.

A state budget compromise that calls for Ohioans to pay more in 2009 taxes than expected has cleared the state Legislature. After eking through the Senate in a 17-15 vote, it cleared the Ohio House 54-42 with two Republican votes.
One of the leading opponents to a downtown Columbus casino was very much for a similar development in Pittsburgh. Nationwide Realty Investors is credited with guiding the development of the very successful Columbus Arena District. Four years ago Nationwide wanted to build a similar district in Pittsburgh; but that one would have included a casino.
