An Athens man arrested for placing First Amendment stickers over a church directory on a county courthouse has been cleared of the criminal mischief charge against him.

Advocates for Ohio’s poor, elderly, and mentally ill have been warning that government spending cuts — some proposed and others theoretical – would be devastating for the state’s most vulnerable citizens. But the activists had a hard time today making their case at a legislative committee hearing because of partisan bickering by lawmakers.
