The Biological Sciences Greenhouse at OSU has been fortunate to have multiple bloomings of the Titan Arum, aka, the corpse flower. They have its smaller but also smelly cousin, the Voodoo Lily. From its bruise-colored bloom that resembles a corpse, to its stench of rotting flesh, this tropical flower masks its beauty to attract its pollinators.

Columbus firefighters Monday agreed to give up their pay raises this year to help the city balance its budget – the only union representing city employees to make that promise so far. In return, Mayor Coleman promises that no firefighters will be laid off.
The National Weather Service says between 3 inches and 5 inches of snow could fall in southwest, central, and southeast Ohio beginning tonight through Wednesday. Meteorologist Dahrlie Woodrum says snow will arrive in Central Ohio early Tuesday morning as low pressure moves out of the Southern Great Plains.
