Columbus City council has given a green light to a 30 percent income tax abatement for Children’s Hospital. The tax incentive is designed to help the hospital expand and create 24-hundred new jobs at its Parsons and Livingston location. Council-member and development chair Mary Ellen O’Shaughnessy tells WOSU’s Tom Borgerding the agreement will keep jobs from possibly moving to the suburbs.
