Ohio Voters Likely to Decide Payday Lending Issue

It now appears that Ohio voters will indeed get a chance to vote on whether to keep or throw out a new state law that cracks down on payday loan stores.

The stores hate the law, and they helped collect thousands of petition signatures, to put it onto the ballot so voters have a shot at wiping it out with a “no” vote.

As statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports, questions remain about whether all of the petition signatures were gathered fairly.
