A conservative Ohio think tank has launched an initiative aimed at improving the availability of state and local government records online.
The Franklin County Board of Elections has turned to a scientific study to help it allocate voting machines in November. Director Michael Stinziano says the board wants to avoid lines similar to those in 2004 that deterred 20-thousand or more potential voters from casting ballots.
