Governor Strickland says there seems to be a double standard in Attorney General Marc Dann’s office because Dann is going unpunished while three top aides in a sexual harassment scandal have been forced out.
Internal investigators announced today that Anthony Gutierrez a top aide to Dann violated the office’s sexual harassment policy. Two women in the office accused Gutierrez of making unwanted come-ons.
Strickland says he won’t comment further until he learns more about he situation. Gutierrez and two other people in Dann’s office have been forced out of their jobs because of the scandal.
Ohio Republicans have called for Dann to resign. Dann says he takes responsibility for the scandal but has no intention of resigning. Dann also apologized today to having an affair with an employee.
