A coalition of health and human services advocates is expressing support for the governor’s pitch to help economically struggling Ohioans move out of poverty, though the group has concerns about how the goal will be accomplished.
Ohio Attorney General Recuses Himself From Harassment Case.
Listen to the Story
Attorney General Marc Dann says he is withdrawing from an internal investigation into two employees’ accusations that they were sexually harassed by a director in the office. Dann asked the agency employee who is overseeing the investigation to instead report to First Assistant Attorney General Tom Winters.
Complaints filed by two women last week allege that Anthony Gutierrez harassed them at work or in the Dublin condo once shared by Dann, Gutierrez and Leo Jennings, Dann’s communications chief. Dann has placed Gutierrez, his director of general services, on paid administrative leave during the investigation.
Jennings said Dann withdrew because of the possibility he may be asked to give a statement, and because he has known Gutierrez for many years.
