Dublin erects temporary barrier to ponds following second death

Temporary concrete barriers seperate Avery-Muirfield Road from two retention ponds on the road's east side.

The city of Dublin today placed concrete barriers between the Avery Road/161 interchange and two retention ponds. The move comes just over a week after a second man drowned when his car veered off Avery Road into one of the ponds.

Twin accused in murder of brother faces more time in juvenile detention

The lawyer representing Linden teen accused of killing his twin brother appeared in juvenile court this morning. 18-year-old Derris Lewis faces delinquency murder and other charges. But today’s hearing shed little light in details of the case.
