Some people consider parking in downtown Columbus, well, a commodity. At times finding a place to park can be quite difficult, especially if there’s a big event in progress. Mayor Michael Coleman announced he wants to build two parking garages with construction starting this year.
One Ohio legislator says the state’s highways may not be as safe as they used to be, because a growing number of truckers cannot read highway signs written in English.
Local steel workers Wednesday rallied in support of tougher safety regulations on imported food and drugs. Members of the United Steel Workers union say the U.S. Food and Product REsponsibility Act is a good thing for American workers. But some Conservatives see it as a barrier to free trade.
