Number of Car Thefts Is Changing

From year to year, the number of auto thefts in Ohio usually goes up or down just one, two or four percent. But the latest estimate is a lot larger than that. Mitch Wilson of the Ohio Insurance Institute has been tracking the numbers.

Car owners in Cleveland continue to face the highest risk that their vehicles will be stolen. In 2006, they had a one in 44 chance.
