The Ohio Highway Patrol and Columbus Police are searching the city’s west side for an escaped murder suspect. The State Highway Patrol says Gerald Bullucks, 19, was last seen at 11:30 Sunday night at a mental health facility where he was being held.
Bullucks is accused of shooting two men in Cincinnati last New Year’s Eve, killing one and wounding the other. The patrol says he was being held on charges including aggravated murder and attempted aggravated murder.
Police searched one house overnight on a tip that Bullucks might be there, but officers found no one inside. Lieutenant Bradshaw talked to WOSU’s Tom Borgerding.
