Gordon Gee: I Will Assume the Presidency of The Ohio State University
Vanderbilt University Chancellor Gordon Gee Wednesday confirmed that he is returning to the president’s office at Ohio State University.
In an open letter to the Vanderbilt campus, Gee said he is returning to the place he considers his home. He went on to say that members of the O.S.U Board of Trustees and others have done in his words everything possible to make him feel valued and appreciated.
The Ohio State Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet in executive session Thursday afternoon. A vote is expected before Gee is announced as the next president of OSU. Gee says he will leave Vanderbilt on August 1st.
