Ohio Lawmakers Want Tougher Penalties for Repeat Offenders
Key lawmakers in the Republican majority have introduced a major bill designed to get tougher with repeat felons.
The proposal stipulates that judges would have the power to double the prison sentence of anyone convicted of a third felony. Additionally, If criminals were convicted twice for felonies, judges would be expected to punish them with the maximum possible.
