Opening arguments were held Wednesday in the murder trial of 25-year-old Lindsey Bruce. He is accused of killing 5-year-old Emily Rimel two years ago. Bruce was convicted in 2005 of kidnapping in connection with the child’s disappearance. After the child’s body was found more than 18 months after she disappeared, prosecutors filed murder charges.
