Indiana-based artist Tasha Lewis transforms the Conservatory’s gallery with thousands of magnetic cyanotype butterflies printed on cotton fabric. Her blue butterflies hover in mid-air and seem to swarm the space, blurring the connection between the natural and artificial worlds.

Winter weather advisories and warnings continue to cover much of Ohio this morning as the tail end of a snow and ice storm drags its way through the state.
Snow and ice have crippled much of Ohio, shutting down some manufacturing plants and, postponing court hearings. A 9-year old girl was killed near Cincinnati when an ice-covered tree limb fell on her. The severe winter weather closed Ohio State University for the first time in years.
Wednesday couples across the country will celebrate their love. But there’s a forgotten group that will not receive a valentine. It’s the singles. They also have a day: Singles Awareness Day. The unofficial holiday got its start a couple of years ago when Mississippi State University’s student newspaper ran an article celebrating singles.
