Taft makes mental health parity law
Governor Bob Taft has signed into law a requirement that health insurance companies pay for treatment of mental illness&on an equal footing with physical ailments.
It’s a turnaround for the Governor, who’s leaving office in less than two weeks and mental health advocates are celebrating.
