Pryce Prevails over Kilroy
Later this week, the Franklin County Board of elections is expected to certify recount results in the 15th congressional district race – more than five weeks after the election.
Unofficially, Republican incumbent Deborah Pryce beat Democratic challenger Mary Jo Kilroy by little more than one thousand votes. In a news conference Monday, Pryce said the results that were measured are 100% accurate.
Pryce’s challenger, Franklin County Commissioner Kilroy, pledges to carry on with issues she raised during the campaign including assistance for returning veterans, health care for vets and others, and helping to make Franklin County more energy independent.
