Candidates for Governor Address Educational Group
The two major party candidates for governor both courted a major education group Thursday. Democrat Ted Strickland and Republican Ken Blackwell each spoke at separate sessions in Columbus, attended by about 200 school board members, school treasurers, and school administrators from across Ohio. The two hopefuls began their talks with the same tactic, but they outlined distinctly different policy stands.
