Acclaimed Iraq War Documentary Filmed by Soldiers Opens in Columbus
An award winning film chronicling the war in Iraq opens Friday in Columbus. The documentary War Tapes was filmed by five soldiers with the New Hampshire National Guard who served in Iraq. It captures the camaraderie, the boredom and the terror that soldiers experience on the front lines. One of the soldiers who filmed parts of the movie is Staff Sergeant Zack Bazzi He spoke with WOSU’s Mike Thompson. Click the listen icon to hear an extended interview with Sgt. Bazzi.
