Primary Seen as Test of Christian Conservatives
On primary election day May 2nd .Christian conservatives in Ohio will have an opportunity to demonstrate their much-touted political power. Many of the conservative church-goers have been backing Ken Blackwell in the Republican primary for governor against his GOP opponent Jim Petro. A Blackwell win might signal that the Christian conservatives continue as a force to be reckoned with. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen prepared this report
