The Columbus Division of Police has added new duties for three patrol officers. The three have been named Diversity and Inclusion Liaison Officers who will work to build trust between police and the community.
ACLU challenges new anti-terrorism law
Ohio’s own version of the federal Patriot Act takes effect Friday, and the American Civil Liberties Union is already filing a legal challenge in court. The ACLU says at least one part of the new law is unconstitutional, and that’s the basis for what could be the first of several lawsuits. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports.
