Republicans in the Ohio Senate are pushing for colleges to cut students’ costs by 5 percent and want the state to set up a drug prison where addicted inmates can get treatment.
Ohioans could see hike in phone bills
Phone rates for many Ohioans could go up by as much as $15 a year after a decision from state regulators. Companies can raise prices by 20 percent over current rates, but must phase in those increases if they are approved. Consumer advocates note the initial proposal could have hiked phone rates much as 20 percent a year with no phase in.
