Jim O’Brien took the stand today in the first day of his wrongful termination suit against Ohio State. The former men’s basketball coach is suing the University for at least 3-and-a-half million dollars in back pay and benefits.
The holidays can be a very stressful time for people who have peanut allergies. Picking up the wrong snack at a party could be deadly. Peanut and tree nut allergies have increased dramatically in the past two decades. Most recently, a teenager from Canada died after kissing her boyfriend who had eaten a peanut snack hours earlier. No one knows for sure what is causing the rise in the number of nut allergies, but a Columbus allergy specialist offers his theory.
The Columbus City Council is scheduled to vote tonight whether to continue a controversial moratorium that limits the rights of some local landowners.
