Franklin County Board of Elections fields more voter complaints
Franklin County Board of Elections members listened quietly, nodded and took notes as one-by-one voters and poll workers voiced their concerns about voting in last month’s general election. Columbus resident Esther Hampton says she made her selections on the electronic voting machine, then pressed the button to cast her vote, but the machines didn’t respond. Most of the other concerns centered on the issue of voting machine distribution. Board Chairman William Anthony promised a report on the voter hearing with answers to questions at a later date.
