Central Ohio man works to make Brazilian martial art an Olympic sport

A Central Ohio man is working to bring attention to a form of Martial Arts from Brazil.

Ronaldo Bianado teaches the Brazilian techniques of capoiera three nights a week at a hall in East Columbus.

He says it differs from karate or judo because it mixes music and dance with self defense moves.

Bianado says he’s working to get capoiera art recognized as an Olympic Sport by the 2012 games.
