Columbus saw very little snow Wednesday night and Thursday morning, but it was a much different scene in Chillicothe and areas further south.
Laura Bush stumps for the president
First Lady Laura Bush was in Columbus Tuesday morning campaigning for her husband. She spoke at the Clintonville Woman’s Club.
A crowd of about 250 invited guests, mostly women, and virtually all republicans, heard Laura Bush talk about the economy, jobs, healthcare, education and the war on terror.
Outside the event, a handful of John Kerry supporters waved signs and chanted two more months. Laura Bush finished her campaign tour with an early afternoon stop in the Cleveland area.
