Indiana-based artist Tasha Lewis transforms the Conservatory’s gallery with thousands of magnetic cyanotype butterflies printed on cotton fabric. Her blue butterflies hover in mid-air and seem to swarm the space, blurring the connection between the natural and artificial worlds.
Laura Bush stumps for the president
First Lady Laura Bush was in Columbus Tuesday morning campaigning for her husband. She spoke at the Clintonville Woman’s Club.
A crowd of about 250 invited guests, mostly women, and virtually all republicans, heard Laura Bush talk about the economy, jobs, healthcare, education and the war on terror.
Outside the event, a handful of John Kerry supporters waved signs and chanted two more months. Laura Bush finished her campaign tour with an early afternoon stop in the Cleveland area.
