Columbus artist Jenny Fine says her camera has become a tool for facilitating intimacy between herself and her family, and nowhere is that more evident than in her “Flat Granny” series, soon to be on view at the Dublin Arts Council. The artist photographed her grandmother during the last ten years of her life.

Academic performance among Ohio students continues to improve. That’s according to a statewide report card released Tuesday by the Ohio Department of Education. Columbus schools superintendent Gene Harris used the occasion to tout her district’s improvements.
Teresa Heinz Kerry pushed her husband’s college-tuition-for-community-service plan during an appearance Monday before a group of about 250 Ohio working women in Columbus. Heinz Kerry also outlined her views on economic benefits and health care for women.
