Songwriters summit aims to promote racial harmony
A national non-profit group called “Oneness” uses education, the arts and especially music to promote racial harmony.
“Oneness” co-founders Faith Holmes and Dennis Stafford are hosting a songwriters summit in Columbus this weekend.
They say the summit is designed to produce music with a social message.
The 2004 Columbus songwriters’ summit is a co-production between “Oneness” and capacity, CAPA’s youth arts program.
The group has scheduled a free concert Sunday afternoon 4:00pm at The Southern Theater.
