The Biological Sciences Greenhouse at OSU has been fortunate to have multiple bloomings of the Titan Arum, aka, the corpse flower. They have its smaller but also smelly cousin, the Voodoo Lily. From its bruise-colored bloom that resembles a corpse, to its stench of rotting flesh, this tropical flower masks its beauty to attract its pollinators.

President Bush told supporters at a Columbus fund-raiser today that he’s laying the foundation for an Ohio victory and a national re-election victory in the fall of 2004. But he says he’s still got a job to do – to keep nation secure,strong, prosperous and free.
Governor Taft annouced Wednesday that Ohio State University will receive an $8-million grant to try to find new ways to prevent and treat lung cancer. The award is part of the state’s Third Frontier initiative.
