Buckeyes’ Drew Carter out for year
Ohio State wide receiver Drew Carter’s injured knee will cause him to miss the rest of his senior season. Head coach Jim Tressel made the annoucement Tuesday afternoon at his weekly luncheon. Carter was injured in Saturday’s win over Indiana.
Tressel said Carter had an MRI which showed a serious injury. Tressel said, “He’ll be out for the year, which is devastating in my mind, because here’s a senior who has been playing his best football and has done everything Ohio State could ever ask of him for five years and withstood injuries and disappointments and less playing time than he’d hoped to have, but he always had a positive attitude and always did whatever.”
