Central Ohioans who heat their homes with natural gas should brace for higher heating bills this coming winter. Donald Mason of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio says a combination of colder weather and transportation costs could boost gas costs 220 dollars for the average homeowner.
Trying to keep underage people from buying alcohol is a constant battle. State liquor control agents have spent the last couple years running sting operations designed to encourage store owners to check identification of people who buy alcohol. Hundreds of businesses have been fined. Now store owners and liquor companies have launced a new campaign to try to curb underage drinking.
