Christopher Bedford is New Director of the Rose Art Museum, Brandeis
Ohio State’s loss is Brandeis University’s gain. Â The Wexner Center’s chief curator of exhibitions has accepted the position of Director at the Rose Art Museum. Â The Scotland native grew up in England and the United States. Â He was soon a rising star, with posts at the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Wexner. Â He quickly gained a reputation as a “visionary thinker about the engagement of art and the role of museums in society.”

Indianopolis Symphony Lays Off Six Staff, Retains Musicians
The musicians of the Indianapolis Symphony accepted a 12% pay cut three years ago and received a modest 2.8% bump last year. Â The final year of their contract provides a 7.8% increase, which has forced the orchestra to lay off six members of its administrative staff.
