Tango with a Miami City Ballet Flash Mob

Miami’s Wynwood Art Walk came to life Saturday when dancers of the Miami City Ballet flash mobbed the city’s street art mecca, Wynwood Walls.
Art Walk attendees mingled to contemporary music amid the maze of Wynwood Walls’ warehouses decorated with brightly colored graffiti-style exterior murals. Then the DJ changed her tune to a tango by Astor Piazzolla, and the MCB dancers came out strutting and sliding, shaking and shimmying.
The flash mob was part of the Knight Foundation’s Random Acts of Culture program, which funds performances that “engage residents and bring a community together.”
