Kurt Weill Celebrates Ice Cream
“I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream.”
Have you found yourself quoting this old American recently? I did, on July 14th,Â when I received an e-mail that included information on the history of ice cream and the entrepreneur Tom Carvel,Â who established the first permanent ice cream stand in the United States. Then I wondered if any classical composers had written anythingÂ about ice cream.
