Podcast: In the Key of “Dâ€anzmayr – Mozart
David Danzmayr leads ProMusica Chamber Orchestra in two performances of Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor this weekend. ProMusica welcomes the Lancaster Chorale, along with soloists Martha Guth, Peggy Kriha Dye, Benjamin Bunsold, and Robert Kerr. If Ms. Kriha Dye’s name sounds familiar, you have heard her on All Side Weekend recently with Christopher Purdy discussing the arts scene in Central Ohio, in her role as general manager of Opera Columbus.
Danzmayr says he grew to love this Mozart work through his dad, who inspired a lifelong love of Mozart the composer and a lifelong curiosity about Mozart the man.
