A question that comes up from time to time at concerts is, â€œCouldnâ€™t they amplify the (insert any instrument here) so we could hear it better over the orchestra?â€
That is a good question, especially in larger auditoriums, or outdoors. To me, outdoor amplification never seems to sound natural. However, what about indoors?
