Next Fretworks is Saturday Evening at 7 on Classical 101
Join me Saturday evening at 7pm for the next Fretworks on Classical 101.Â On this Saturday’s program, we have music of Torroba, Debussy, Tarrega and Bach.Â We’ll also hear selections from Macedonian Pieces by Miroslav Tadic.
The Columbus Guitar Society is presenting Denis Azabagic for their next concert at the Huntington Recital Hall in Bexley at Capital University at 8 pm on Saturday as well. On our broadcast, we’ll have his recording of Federico Moreno Torroba’s Sonatina, and also a couple of the aforementioned Macedonian Pieces for flute and guitar as part of the Cavatina Duo.
The Amsterdam Guitar Trio will have their arrangement of Claude Debussy’s Petite Suite, and Mats Bergstrom will play a bit of Tarrega. Chinese guitarist Xuefei Yang will play an arrangement of Bach’s Violin Concerto in E for guitar and string quartet.
