From the very beginning, musicians have found inspiration in flora and fauna.  Ferde Grofe took us on a burro ride On the Trail in the Grand Canyon Suite.

Gioachino Rossini built an opera around The Thieving Magpie.

Telemann wrote a violin concerto called The Frogs

…and a symphony known as The Crickets.
