Kids Go Classical with The Baby’s Opera, A Children’s Overture
It’s always nifty when one art form influences another.
I learned recently that Walter Crane’s beautiful collection of nursery rhymes and children’s songs The Baby’s Opera was the inspiration behind Roger Quilter’s lovely orchestra piece A Children’s Overture.
