Joffrey Ballet Contract Dispute Leads to Lockout…Cancellations

NFL, NBA Not The Only Lockouts…

The upcoming season for the Joffrey Ballet is in jeopardy after dancers were told in a letter that “All dancers and other AGMA-represented employees must immediately remove their personal possessions from the Joffrey Tower.  Please turn in your key passes.”

Handel…and Hendrix…Slept Here

NY Times critic Anthony Tommasini was in London earlier this year for the premiere of Anna Nicole, a new opera based on the life of Anna Nicole Smith, that was being staged by the Royal Opera House at Covent Garden, when he discovered the Handel Museum.  Imagine his surprise when he found out that Jimi Hendrix had lived next door.
