Help Name Classical 101′s New Program!
Even if you’re still recovering from election fatigue, here’s a fun opportunity to make your voice heard in a distinctly democratic way. We’re asking your help Classical 101 name our new American music program!
On January 5, Classical 101 will launch a fun new Saturday evening program of classical music — with an American accent. Each Saturday at 6 pm I’ll guide you on a tour through masterworks by great American composers like Aaron Copland, Leonard Bernstein and Samuel Barber and we’ll go back to our American roots with George Gershwin’s jazz-inspired music, performances by America’s bluegrass greats and more.
Submit your suggestions for program names by November 30, and if your suggestion is chosen, you could be invited to a behind-the-scenes look at the making of this weekly program.
Don’t miss your chance to go classically American! Submit your ideas online or call in your suggestions at 614.292.9678.
