Cubicle Concert: The Fry Street Quartet
We had a special treat earlier this afternoon as the Fry Street Quartet stopped by the Classical 101 studios.
The quartet previewed selections from their upcoming Southern Theatre concert program of string quartets by Beethoven, Schubert and Bartok, and chatted about life on the road as a quartet.
Watch William Fedkenheuer (violin), Rebecca McFaul (violin), Bradley Ottesen (viola) and Anne Francis (cello) play the first movement of Ludwig van Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 3 in D major, op. 18, No. 3.
The Fry Street Quartet comes to Columbus to perform the final concert of the 2010-11 Chamber Music Columbus season, Saturday, April 30 at 8 p.m. in the Southern Theatre.
Hope to see you there!
