The Columbus Guitar Society is having its annual post-season fundraiser and will present the University of Cincinnati Guitar Ensemble with director Clare Callahan this Friday, May 4th, at 8pm.  This performance was originally scheduled for last January but had to be canceled due to bad weather.

The concert will feature the full ensemble as well as smaller group and solo performances.  The ensemble consists of up-and-coming players with participants who go on to professional careers.  They will present an interesting and varied program of works, sure to delight lovers of classical guitar music.

This special event takes place at the Columbus Guitar Society’s regular venue for concerts, the Huntington Recital Hall at Capitol University in Bexley.  Admission is only $5, or free with Capitol University ID.  Tickets will be available at the door.

This time around the weather looks a lot better, and the beautiful sounds of classical guitars will be ringing throughout the Huntington Recital Hall Friday evening.  If you intended to go the first time or just heard about it now, don’t miss it.
