A Coincidental Night at the Theatre
It seems Morning Edition anchor Marilyn Smith needed some music from A Chorus Line to use for a review by Joy Reilly, so she went to speak with WOSU Music Director Beverley Ervine.Â As they discussed the long-time Broadway favorite, Marilyn commented that she had gone to see Chorus Line when it came to Mershon Auditorium in the 70s.
Come to find out Beverley was there for the same performance, and every other performance because she was playing in the orchestra!Â Both enjoyed the show, they said.
I’ll bet plans are being laid for another great outing neither knows the other is at in the near future.
