A Classical Music Flash Mob with Superstar Cred

In a nod to the increasing openness and whimsicality of the global classical music scene, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, soprano Renee Fleming and members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Lyric Opera of Chicago orchestra created a flash mob Monday with students from three of Chicago’s schools in the food court of Chicago’s Thompson Center Monday, according to a report from Chicago’s WBEZ.
The performance was part of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s community-building Citizen Musician venture.
So, Columbus, when are we going to have a classical music flash mob in the Cap City?
