All this week and through Christmas, we’re presenting holiday programs at 7pm, and the one for this evening is something special for the centennial year of Benjamin Britten.
A Centennial Ceremony of Carols celebrates the 100th anniversary of the birth of the renowned British composer through his beloved choral music for the holidays. The centerpiece of the program will be Britten’s popular Ceremony of Carols. You will also hear other Britten holiday works and standard carols arranged by Sir David Wilcocks.
Join us for music of the holidays from this great 20th century composer this evening at 7 on Classical 101.
